Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today, we got up at 7:00 am. We ate eggs and fruit for breakfast first. Then we got ready to start sailing. I was skipper, so I was at the helm to steer the boat. We sailed for about 3 hours in the morning. We then stopped at Cooper Island for lunch, which was PB and J, or you could eat ham/ turkey sandwiches. When we stopped, we also swam, which was very nice after a hot morning. We all got into the dinghy, where we tried to do flips, but it failed. Teddy and Payton were the only two who did backflips. Finn was going to do a backflip, but he got psyched out and just jumped in backward. While on the dinghy, Zander kept trying to push Ellery, Eres, William, Lulu, and Bear off the dinghy, but Eres pushed him in instead. Then we had to get off the dinghy to get ready to go sailing again.
We sailed for about 3 hours again in the afternoon. During this sail, we had a lot of tacking practice, and then we had a sail chat. Afterward, Finn, Teddy, Oskar, Zander, Eres, Bear, and I sat and talked on the bow of the boat and were in a big pile. After the sail, we stopped in Savannah Bay, and everyone got in the water and swam. Finn, Teddy, Zander, and Oskar got to go and knee board or wakeboard. While they were doing that, the girls and Payton and William all swam and did flips off the dinghy. Bear yelled at this other boat to make them do a Dance battle, but they did really badly, so we didn’t dance back. While we were getting back off the boat, Tatum arrived on a dinghy, and we were all super excited and ran up and hugged her. After, Tatum, Payton, Eres, and I all went and wakeboarded and knee boarded. Payton and I wakeboarded and ate it a few times. Tatum did really well on the kneeboard, though. Then we got back to showers and ate dinner.
