Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
This morning, our chefs, Libby and Enya, made delicious French toast while Charles practiced his sailing knots. After breakfast, we left the dock and started our day of sail training. We raised the sails and practiced the procedure for a man overboard situation. Reid helped pull the man overboard, in our case, the fender, back onto the boat while Sofie was the spotter. On the way to the next anchorage, Brij and Reese practiced sailing triangles with Matty P while everyone else practiced their knots. Later, Annika taught Max how to Gybe with top-secret tips. When we arrived at the anchorage, half of the boat, Max, Eliza, Enya, Charles, and Dalila, went scuba diving to finish their certifications, while the other half of the boat went to the beach. At the beach, we swam, and Libby found a very cool conch shell! After the beach, we came back to the boat and took our ocean showers, and the chefs started cooking the franks and beans for dinner. After dinner, we did our evening activity, and we hope to sleep fairly early. Today was a day with lots of sailing but in all, very fun.
