Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
We woke up this morning to the amazing smell of Will and Taleena cooking up a bunch of pancakes. We had a very leisurely morning as we sat in the cockpit, munching on breakfast. We had an excess of pancakes, so we decided the only acceptable way to get rid of them was throw them at other boats. They were very happy with our generosity. We took up anchor and set sail for our practical exam day. We practiced tacking and jibing, as well as man overboard drills. For the latter we used our fender. We sailed until lunch time, which was chicken wraps prepared by Will. We continued our sail tests until around 4pm, when we dropped anchor at Sandy Spit. We spent some time at the beach chilling in the water and building sandcastles. I sit in the salon now, surrounded by my shipmates and friends, while the chefs prepare a lovely dinner. P.S. Jonathan wants me to say that there’s a rainbow outside.
