Today, we started off the day again by waking up to music. Nate and Lola started off our day by making us some amazing French toast. Our counselors needed to go to a staff meeting, so we decided to surprise them by deep cleaning our couch cushions, rooms and bathrooms, the top and front of the boat, and the dining area. After 1-2 hours of work, it was time to set off for a long day of sailing in order to practice for our sailing tests. Everyone got the chance to do everything that we had to do for sailing; with the towering waves crashing and shoving our boat side to side, walking across our boat was like an obstacle course. We were helming, pulling the lines, and cooking lunch. All the while, the boat was rocking so hard that it really showed us the feeling of what real sailing is like. We decided to anchor to eat our lunch, which was chicken salad sandwiches. The lunch was so god it really fueled us to rock out the rest of the day. Then, back to sailing because some students had to go scuba diving while the other students relaxed, practiced knots, and tanned on the front of the bow. After a chill but long day, it was time to shower, and we played with a football in the ocean for a little bit and ran around, then took our hibiclense shower. Feeling refreshed after our showers, we were served some hotdogs, beans, and cornbread to finish off our day.
