Hello, fellow ActionQuest parents! Today, we started our lovely day with a bright and early wake-up at around 6:45 to start our day of rotations. Our chefs, Stella and George, cheffed up a hardy meal of eggs and coffee cake #bulkingseason. We quickly munched that up and started dishy pit and deckying. We then hopped in the dinghy and rode on our hike. This was our first rotation of the day, and we were HYPE. We were told this was gonna be an easy hike, but after Philippe, Sloane, and I hiked uphill for a straight 30 minutes, we thought otherwise. The view was absolutely FIRE, though. After our hike, we rode back to our boat to get ready for our second rotation of the day. The ZESTTTT!!!!!! We traveled as a squad to the other boat to zest for an hour. They quickly got us started on our own mini sailboat (we had no idea how to work them). Maddie and I hopped into the zest and started our journey. We capsized after about 2 minutes on the zest, yes I know we are very talented. George and Townes killed it out there and were jibing and tacking like pros. Juliet and Natalia were also having a hard time but were having so much fun trying to figure it all out. Bodin and Jack hopped onto the zest and laughed at Maddie and me as they sped by us, looking like pros. Henry and Phillippe then took the water and killed it, too. After an hour of testing, we went to the next watersports rotation. Maddie, Juliet, and I persevered out on the knee board of as we were getting whipped around in the waves. Townes and George also went out and absolutely slayed the house down on the skis and kneeboard. The rest were chillin on the boat having a grand ole time. After water sports, we went to have lunch in our own boat. After lunch, we sped over to Highlander and started out scuba diving. We got our masks and flippers on and dominated the waters down there. You just know we ate that diving up. We even saw a dolphin while diving. Today, we took our training wheels off and went 35 feet down into the ocean—# pros. After diving, we headed to our last rotation, knot-tying and dinghy driving. We headed back to our boat after that and started to get ready for a second BBQ. #ITWASLIT. We had great burgers and got to see our friends from the other boats. When we got back from the beach, we all showered in the dark and got ready for bed. AND that’s my day. It was a pretty lit day if you ask me. Just wait till tomorrow. It’s gonna be even better.
