Location: The Bight, Norman Island
Today we woke up at 7:30 and were already underway for Rhone Day 🛳️!! When we got to the Rhone, we started our day by eating some cereal and oatmeal 🥣, after eating we took our exams for sailing. Zoe, Maya, Lilly, Alta, and Riley took their basic sailing, and Asa, Julian, Carlo, Myles, Sophie, Shane, and I took our Advanced Sailing exam. We stayed in the
boat for a while hanging out, and after a while, we went on a hike on Salt Island while Sophie and Alta stayed scuba diving 🤿. When we got to the top of the hike, we stayed there to enjoy the amazing view and took very cool group pictures. We got to the boat, and the chefs made us delicious Ramen 🍜 in the Rhone. After eating, we went diving to the Rhone and had an amazing time scuba diving. When we arrived at the boat, we went through a super cool hole that was part of the shipwreck. We hung out in the water while talking about how we would miss each other once camp is over; after a few minutes, we did saltwater showers and had a pushup contest in which Carlo and Maya were the last contestants. The chefs started to make dinner at 5:30, which was cheddar broccoli pasta, and after eating the dinner, we had a baseball game in the salon with Sophie, Zoe, Shane, and I, and we had a blast playing baseball for one hour.
After a long day, we gathered up in the salon, and Mackenzie read us a story for us the cards, which are personal cards that everyone makes for the shipmates, the staff, and our future self, which they send in a few months and for action quest thanking them for everything.
