Hello again, everyone. This is what Reid back at you again with my last blog. It was a long day today, but one we were all looking forward to. We were finally allowed to sleep in after many early days, but Sedora and Evan still managed to wake up early. The boat had a wonderful breakfast of pancakes cooked by Vanessa and Mar, but due to some sneaky hiding by Riley, said pancakes went without any syrup. After breakfast, Alpenglow broke the quad raft first and headed over to Road Town. While our fearless(and maybe somewhat crazy) skipper Riley drove us through a downpour to get to town, the rest of the group hid in the salon and played various games or read books. I was not too great at Banana Grams, but did decent at Spoons.
Riley, Amanda, and Whitney briefed us on shore time, gave us money out of our dwindling supply and we quickly departed Alpenglow. Angie, Sedora, and Krisi went to get their hair braided while Gabby, Laila, and Loralai led the charge on getting more snacks. There were many places to get food, supplies, and snacks, which we all took advantage of. Road Town was definitely cool, but due to the rain and how busy it was, we were glad to return to Alpenglow.
After a short steam back over to GHP, the staff left the boat for a quick meeting while we made the last on-the-boat dinner, which made the bat kind of sad. Jake Steward, we are mad because you were supposed to come for dinner but didn’t. Your excuses don’t fly with us, even if they seem correct. Even though it was a long day, time was going by way too quickly. Hard to believe time is going by this fast, but I am excited to get home to catch back up on sleep.
