Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today, we started the morning, waking up soaking wet from the rain that had hit us throughout the night. Our chefs, Lila and Sultan, made us some cereal that we all got to enjoy before we left for our final dive. The waves were very strong today while we were diving. We went to see a shipwreck that had happened around 200 years ago when a mail boat got taken from its anchor all the way to Salt Island. There were some pretty big lobster, and really pretty fish that we got to see under the water. My group, Otter, Thomas, and I, had a lot of fun diving together. After that, we got to swim before it started to rain again. Audrey, Sloane, and Yates stayed in the water for a long time. After that, we got to salt water wash before taking our sailing exam. The advanced sailers, Alex, Thomas, Sloane, Mary, and Yates, took their test after the beginners. We all did very well on the exam, and thank God I passed! Our chefs made us ramen noodle soup, which was perfect for the weather before we went on our way to a different spot.
We sailed for a while, and it was very bumpy but a lot of fun. And we got to race another one of the boats. Once we got to our spot for the night and anchored. We relaxed and listened to music while we were all talking, and we got to make dinner. We had cheddar broccoli pasta for dinner, with salad and biscuits. Then, since it was almost our last day on the boat together, we all had our boat confessions after dinner. There were some pretty good confessions, and it was really funny to hear things that I hadn’t noticed before. Then we cleaned up the boat and the dishy pit. Tonight, we are going to do our final” “Lifeworks” activity, and Emma said that it is the best one yet. We are all just hanging out and talking now, and it was a great day!
