Hello, I am Thompson. Today was by far the most exciting day out of all, and it had nothing to do with our activities. We woke up normally at 7 am to the Sponge Bob theme song. Roughly 5 minutes later, we received a voice note alerting us that two of our beloved staff members on Shamwari got engaged!! Matty P. and Sela are now officially official. After the exciting news, though, we got ready for another action-packed day. With me (Thompson) being the skipper, I had to partake in a meeting about the sailboat race we had today. We ended up coming in last, but the boat broke 2.5 seconds before we crossed the finish line, so we will just blame it on that.
Ella S, Lucy, and Ella W led the hype team by dancing to hype songs like Lip Gloss and Timber. After the first race, though, we had to sail to the exact dock where we all met. We enjoyed 3 hours of land time, and all had time to socialize with other boats. Meredith enjoyed shopping for her family, and Ollie bought himself a new hoodie. Josie and Grayson are the social butterflies of the group, and they eat with the other boat, which is called Alpenglow. Joshua and Carson also enjoyed lunch together at the bar. But after lunch, there was time to spare. Wilkes and I went to the Market and stocked up on snacks for the last three days. Hopie and Lulu went shopping and looked for cool friendship bracelets. But after our extended time on land, we got to get back on the boat. We had one more afternoon race, and also ended up coming in last, but it’s okay because we won the boat Olympics, which actually shows skill. We anchored at the mooring ball, enjoyed an always fun ocean shower, and ate a delicious dinner of pancakes, eggs, biscuits, bacon, onions, and Nutella. We ended off the night with dishes and blog writing. We are almost done. Bye.
