Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
Today was day 17, and it was a very busy day. We woke up to Carson leaving to go to the clinic early in the morning. We started off the day with a good bowl of Froot Loops and Cinnamon Toast Crunch. We 40/40’d and set up for our first race of the day. Drake, Eli, Jackson, and I raised sails, Piper worked the long line, and Claire, Emily, and Nat helped raise the main sail. We started off to a solid start lining up 3rd in line to begin the race. We ended up placing 4th out of the nine boats competing. We then docked in West End, where this whole journey started, and went on shore. Greyson enjoyed very good Indian food, while Juni and Johnluca enjoyed pancakes and veggie tacos for lunch. All rested up. We prepared for our next race. This race is going to be longer and more difficult because of the longer length and the tacking involved. We lined up 5th in order. Other boats got a good jump off the starting line as well as us. The placement was unsure, but we did very well. Once the race ended, we rafted with three other boats, including Second Wind, Odyssey, and Hope. We ate delicious Mexican food for dinner. We all had a great day and our excited for the last few days of our trip. ⚓️⚓️🏖️🏖️🛥️🛥️🛥️⛱️🤿🤿🌅🌅🤙
