Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

I started the day as skipper, with an “exciting” adventure to High on the Breeze for my first skipper’s meeting with the one and only George. In this meeting, we learned about where we would be sailing/racing in the morning. We sailed from Sandy Spit to West End, Tortola. We started the sail with the song “Return of the Macks,” and that put us in a good and competitive mood. Even though the sail was exciting, and I crushed it on the helm, we still came in fourth place out of eight boats. We then stopped on shore in Tortola and ate lunch, and I had to attend yet another skipper’s meeting. The second race of the day was being sailed from West End to Peter Island. This was an exciting sail, and I had a blast. We sadly and surprisingly did not win; we came in third place. Today was so much fun, and I can’t wait to finally win the next sail race on day 20!
