Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

Hi everyone! This is Rina writing the blog this evening. Today, we started the day with cereal and yogurt for breakfast, followed by a sail practical day where we continued practicing man overboard drills; we tacked, put the main sail and genoa up, as well as coiled lots and lots of lines. Orly, Peyton, and Andrew helmed, Sadie and I eased and took up on the main sheet while Celeste and Will pointed, Roman boat hooked, and Evan and Scarlett helped take in and ease the furling line. After an eventful morning, we had a mini sail chat where we reviewed how to tie knots and learned new knots, such as the reefing knot and the sheet bend knot. Then we tied anklets using thin rope to make a ‘Turk’s head’ knot shortly after Ben cooked us some delicious quesadillas as we docked at Moorings to fill our water tanks and had a bit of shore time to stock up on snacks and drink smoothies and lemonade.
We then sailed to Great Harbour Peter and got ready for water sports; Roman, Evan, Andrew, and Peyton had a fantastic time wakeboarding, knee boarding, and water skiing while the rest of us dipped in the water and read on the hard top. Then, for the best part of the day, we went for Zoomies! (Riding on the dinghy at top but safe speeds). We said hi to Pure Joy III and Aloha and then got back for shower time and dinner, which was Mexican night, joined by Dave, who runs the media at AQ. Currently, morale is high, and we are in an intense race to compete against the other boats in the dishy pit and clean up in our mega raft with dive side boats, reuniting Celeste with her favorite counselor, Megan, and Scarlett and Evan with old boat mates.
