Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today, we started off with hot wings from Rio, which got everyone but Redden up. We then had pancakes which were made by Humphrey and Ruby, after breakfast Roman, Scarlett, Evan and Maddie did dishy pit while Dawson, Evan, Lucy and me studied chapters 2 and 3 of our rescue book. After that was finished up, we headed to the beach for our navigation practice, which Rachel and Matthew excelled at. After we did all our nav training, we hung out at the beach for a little while with the other boats, where we did some chicken fights and handstand competitions. Once we went back to the boat, we headed over to the sand circles to do the reciprocal headings and square patterns that we had practiced on the beach. Scarlett and Ruby had a little trouble finding Player and Rachel, so they’re going to redo the dive. Once everyone surfaced, we had chicken salad sandwiches, which everyone enjoyed. While lunch was finishing up, Ol’Bessie was filling up the tanks from the morning. Once that was done, we went back to Savannah Bay to anchor for the night. Once everyone had finished reading their rescue book, we headed back into the water to practice our surface rescue skills. Scarlett, Redden, Roman, and Humphrey played awesome panicked divers. Screaming pizza the entire time, and Dawson, Lucy, Maddie, and Rachel did amazing rescuing them. Once we finished the surface dive, we made dinner(chili), which James from Under Pressure joined us for. James came up with the idea to play hide and seek as our squeeze today, which sounds a lot harder than it is. Evan, Mathew, Rachel, and Scarlett all had amazing hiding spots that took forever to find. Now we’re tidying up the boat and getting ready for our dive chat.
