It’s official the amount of peanut butter our boat consumes as a whole is concerning. It seems that every meal we somehow find a way to incorporate peanut butter. This morning we woke up and started out the day with breakfast which was oatmeal. And surprise surprise the peanut butter was brought out. It was a hard morning for Zoe because we ran out of apples so her normal apple and peanut butter became just a spoonful of peanut butter. We finished eating and dishy pitting while under way then me, Zoe, Addy, and Kennedy all worked on our friendship bracelets. My water bottle is now covered in strings for all the bracelets I’m making When we anchored all the dolphins went turtle tagging. It was not very successful considering we saw a grand total of 0 Turtles. But Dylan and Arther said it was funny to see all of just getting towed around the boat. We then ate lunch where Maddie beat her fear of hot cheese by trying a quesadilla. After lunch we moved to a new spot to dive. Here dolphins continued our research dives. Zoe, Maddie, Addy and I counted the amount of goby on different size coral heads we also did not get lost which for me and Maddie is always a win. Kennedy, Maya, and Gabe continued to study damsel fish aggression. The Neptunes had a fun dive Sloane, Breckyn, Ellory, Arther, and Dylan all said they were glad they were able to successfully navigate back to the boat. When we got back we were able to take down below showers so we all feel extra clean. Maddie and Ellory then started dinner, which would have been pretty good if it wasn’t for the lettuce in the salad being frozen, and then becoming extremely mushy. I don’t think a single bite of the salad was eaten. Now as I write this everyone else is doing dishy pit, and we dropped another fork which is quite unfortunate as we already don’t have enough, meals have become a race of who is able to use a fork and who is stuck with a spoon. We will have to see who gets sacrificed to free dive down for it. It’s also raining which created the most gorgeous sunset. Tonight we will hopefully get to sleep early as we need to wake up at 6 am for a hike tomorrow. X
