Our Special Day
This morning, I woke up to a banging door and a foot cramp(Don’t worry, it gets better). Though, waking up to oatmeal was super nice. Today was the boat Olympics which everyone was super excited about. Going into it, I was absolutely certain we were going to win, something I’d never felt certain about in past years. This is because this year, I truly feel that our entire ship is connected. When we got there, we started with the Booey balancing contest. First, Avi went up and won. Next, Daniel goes up and wins. Then, Cole went up last and got second(Though he got second to my sister Lily on a different ship, so I wasn’t too upset). So we won that event.
Next was the chicklet-grabbing contest, which we ended up placing third in. Next was the milk-drinking contest, which Oliver won for us by just chugging all of it in less than 10 seconds. Maybe one of the most impressive yet disturbing things I’ve ever seen. Next was the tug-o-war, where we ABSOLUTELY DOMINATED🤜🙌💪. Then finally, we had the water spitting contest, which we lost(thankfully, I didn’t have to drink any). So yeah, we ended up winning 3/5 of the events, so we won(called it). After that, we were on our way to Cooper Island, a sail that ended up taking 5 hours. Thankfully, I got to sleep during it, something I really needed, but many people sat on the trampoline and got soaked by the waves, which they really enjoyed. During this sail, we went through CPR training, which ended up being pretty fun. We ended the day with a jellyfish-filled shower and tacos, which were really good. This trip has been so amazing, and of the three years I’ve done ActionQuest, this has been my favorite so excited for what’s to come and for the next Hibiclens shower.
