Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

This morning we all woke up and got ready to go on our first open-water dive. When we got there, we all split into groups and put on our dive gear. I had Gabe as my dive Instructor with Leuck and Cate. We got in the water and went through a few skills and then went down 30 feet and did a few more skills and started to explore. We saw all kinds of coral and tropical fish. A stingray swam right up to Leuck and Cate. It got so close they could almost touch it. Later on, I saw nine squids moving together. It was really cool when one turned and then they all did at the same time. Luke went with his group, and he saw the biggest jellyfish we saw all trip. Tristan and his group saw a huge string ray. Charlie saw a jackfish, Selah saw a purple lobster, and Talia and Gianna had a good time as well. Sean saw a cool jellyfish, and Mariah saw a rainbow fish which was cool. Emerson saw the jellyfish and parrot fish. After lunch, Charlie luke Selah and I went knee boarding. Charlie hit his first 360 after me, and luke taught him, then went over some massive waves somehow landing. Luke went water skiing and tried to jump a few times; then, he decided to try to take off one ski and go mono skiing. After skiing, we went back to the boat for a mini sail chat to learn about charts. For dinner, we had thanksgiving, and now we are about to have a sail chat!
