Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
We had a fun and relaxing day. We woke up around 7:00 in the morning and had French toast with Sloane’s Nutella, which was a 10/10. Then, today was our practical sail day, where the councilors went silent, and we all ran the boat without their help. It was funny because, at first, they said they were going to leave the boat and meet us at the destination. We all agreed on and it was going to be just students on the boat and o staff. Once the staff left and were pranking us we were still ready to drop the mooring, Audrey, Clara, and otter were especially ready. Besides a couple of bumps in the road, while we were sailing, everything went pretty well. For lunch, we had chicken Caesar salad wrap, and it was so good. Sultan and Yates decided to use the tortilla wraps to play the slap game were you put water in your mouth and slap each other faces with the tortillas, it was worth the watch. Thomas has been working really hard on this prank we want to do on this other boat because we have gotten pranked so many times. One boat stole all of our silverware plates, etc, and we had eggs and soup the next day, and you can probably imagine how that went.
One time, one boat put a goat and chicken on another boat, and I think that would be a great way to get revenge for someone waking up to animals instead of students on their boat. Anywho, we took an ocean shower and had to get some more tests done. Lila, Otter, Clara, Holden, and Grace were working on their knots. While Audrey finished her diving certification. The advanced sailors Yates, Alex, Thomas, and Sloane had to take a test to get their radio certification. We have a lot to look forward to in the last couple of days of camp. We had the beach party barbecue and were going to go on land for lunch the next two days and sailing races to come.
