Location: The Bight, Norman Island
Today started cloudy, but soon the skies cleared and the day turned hot, humid, and sunny. We started the day by diving the anchor of the Rhone which broke off the boat during a hurricane (the ship later sustained a gash in the hull after running into Blonde Rock. Soon after that the boiler flooded and exploded, blasting the ship into two sections, both of which we dove earlier in our trip). It wasn’t nearly as large as we expected, but the dive was still fun. After the dive we sailed to Road Town, Tortola where we spent two hours shopping, eating, and walking around the city. Once we were all back in the boat, we departed for where we spent the night. Tomorrow will be the last leg of our journey. We are nearing the end!
