Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
We started the day by eating breakfast, which was some tasty scrambled eggs with blueberry muffins and fruits brought to the table by Camille. We then took dinghies to the beach to practice using our compass skills before the actual dive. Rina, Sasha, and Eleanor were practicing making heading north and coming back to the same spot. After we all practiced and felt comfortable using the compass, we got to spend some chill time on the beach with the other Neptune boat called Good Times. We got back to the boat, and some of us stayed swimming by the boat, and the other half went water sporting in the dinghy with Katie. After that, we started setting up our gear to go scuba diving. Then we sailed over to Sand Circles to do our navigation dive. We ate underway, and we had some chicken salad sandwiches made by Cici with the help of the chefs who are Owen and Sophia. We separated ourselves into groups; Katie’s group was Beckett, Alivia, Rina, Sasha, Ellie, and me. Hugh, Camille, Sophia, Eric, Gabe, and Owen were in Gene’s group, while Cici stayed on the surface looking out. We all passed the navigation dive! We sailed back to Savannah Bay, where we ate chili with rice and later went through our night diver Knowledge review.
