Today was a day I will never forget!! We started the day off with a delicious meal of cereal and fruit. After cleanup, we piled into Cirrus and headed over to the dive boat, Lascaris, for our first official open water dive! We head we heaved on our dive equipment we took a giant stride into the clear water. After completing the skills, we went on a fun dive! Our dive instructor Jay took us to a cavernous hole where we saw a bunch of wildlife, including a ball of fish, some tarpon, a moray eel (which was super cool), and a stingray. After we got back on Lascaris and returned to our boat, we ate quesadillas for lunch. Then we took our final scuba exam. When everyone was done our medical boat staff, Anna taught us how to make this cool anklet/bracelet called a Turk’s Head. It took me a long time to get it right, but now I have an amazing anklet. The squeeze is about to start, so I got to go, but I’m glad that I got to tell you about today!
