Location: The Bight, Norman Island
Hey, queens, it’s our final full day/night on the open ocean, and tomorrow we go back to port which is actually the saddest thing in the entire world. So we woke up today in GHP, where we had a breakfast of pancakes made by our chefs, Scarlett and Alli. After breakfast, we had our final dive/waterski of the session. Ty, Zack, Alexis, Moorea, Alli, Brian, Caleb, and SKIPPA JOE went on a cool “moon dive” where we went down under our boat with no fins and almost completely deflated our BCDs so we were standing on the ground jumping around like we were on the moon. Ty and Zack brought apples down and were eating apples underwater. Brian took Zack’s apple and was biting it and spitting it out everywhere. While this group had their final dive, Tylah, Scarlett, Jack, and Kyler had a fun morning kneeboarding and skiing.
After these morning activities, we set sail from GHP to Road Town, where we had some time to shop around, get lunch, and all of those land things. We also had our phones which were weird to be like,” Hey, parents, see you in two days””. After land time, we went back to the boat and set sail again in a race against dive side boats. We won. Of course, because Soul Rebel is the best boat in the fleet, no questions. A lot of us slept during the sail. We also played uno which has quickly become the game of the session. We had swim time because it was so hot, and then we started making dinner which was some broccoli cheddar pasta with extra cheese. That was a munch. After dinner, we did a squeeze and hung out on the roof playing games of ninjas. After our time on the roof, we had a Lifeworks to do where we wrote every single person on this boat (students and staff) letters on notecards. We also wrote one to our supreme leader (Mike). It was really nice to reflect and tell everyone about all the good times we had with each other. Getting these notes before our plane flight Wednesday is going to be so sad. Anyway, we are planning to stay up tonight for Alexis’s bday and currently are 45 minutes away from July 4th. Let’s see if we make it. See you all in two days.
