Location: Little Harbor, Jost van Dyke

Yesterday we had a long day adventuring Cane Garden Bay. We ate cereal for breakfast and headed for our hike. We ended up hiking to the tallest point in Tortola. Emerson, Hugh, and Lueck were in the top 20 to get up the mountain. The rest of us were pretty close to the back, but we had a fun time talking as we walked up the mountain in the rain. At the top of the mountain, there was a smoothie shop where Charlie got the last banana smoothie. He then proceeded to run down the mountain cause he was cold. The rest of us took a little bit to get down, but when we did, we went into the town, ate lunch, and explored the shops. We restocked on our snacks, and Luke got a hat. Once we finished exploring, we made our way back to the boat and went to a sand castle-making contest. Gianna and Mariah had the idea to make a giant sea turtle. As we all worked together to build the turtle, Sean and Talia made the patterns in it. At the end of the day, we sadly did not place (even though we definitely should of), but it was still worth building. We then headed back to the boat to shower and get ready for the barbecue at Sidney’s Peace and Love. Everyone bought some cool shirts and hats and enjoyed an amazing dinner. We then headed back to the boat. When we were driving in the dinghy, Selah brought up the fact that megalodons might still be alive, which brought up a long debate. Overall it was an amazing day.
