Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
We woke up to day to a seagull squawking. Dylan and Maddie are two fabulous chefs who set out oatmeal for our nutritious breakfast as we sailed to The Chimneys for our morning dive at 8:30. We all set up our gear as Player went to the rescue boat, and the rest of us went to dive the wonderfully vibrant coral-covered rocks. After our dive, we set sail to Leverick Bay, where we would get our phones to call home and shore time to go shopping and buy lunch. Everybody had a fun time talking to their parents and stretching their legs on the shore. After we went shopping, we got back on the boat so the Dolphins could go snorkeling with Kyler, and Neptunes to have beach time. Some people, like Breckyn and Sloane, stayed on the boat to help tie lines with London. Arthur and Dylan went snorkeling with the Dolphins through the mangroves. Maddie has to wear pants and a shirt due to her horrid sunburn, which is now getting better. Once everybody got back to the boat, everybody went upstairs to talk and eat the snacks that they bought, as three kids from another boat also came aboard to sail with us. We sailed back to Leverick Bay after snorkeling to take ocean showers and go to the barbecue. As we took ocean showers, we jammed out to Kesha, and once everybody was dry, the rush to get ready for the barbecue began. After we were all ready, Maddie, Ellis, Zoe, and Addy took photos in their very cute outfits. Perry wore his bright orange duck crocs. We all hopped into a super dinghy to head to the barbecue. Once we got there, everybody got food and went their separate ways to hang out and meet new friends from Sailside and Diveside. DJ Heavy Beats was hyping up the dance floor as everyone mixed and mingled into the crowd. Once everybody was tired and ready to get back to the boat, we took a dinghy back to our boat and finished off the night with some unwinding and chatting before resting our heads so we can be ready for the adventures that await us.
