Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today, we had to get underway early in order to get back to West End. We had a mildly late breakfast at a breakfast restaurant called Omar’s. The line was long but the wait was worth it! After Omar’s and West End, we began a several hour journey to the Rhone. The Rhone is a wreck of a metal ship that is scattered across the sea floor. We had seen two Caribbean reef sharks, a turtle, a ray, multiple yellow tailed snappers, and many more things. Elle gave us her tank because one of ours had low air, so she swapped and took the tank with little air. Afterward, we broke down our gear and made way for Great Harbor, Peter Island. This is where we relaxed even more and began to make Mexican Night for us and the director of Action Quest, Mike. After dinner, we did some deep thinking on what we saw on some picture cards. On one card, was a trait that we liked and on the other was a trait that we didn’t like or not proud of. We drew a third card that we would use our interpretation of friendship. It was fun. After the cards, Mike left and we began to clean up and some of us set up dive gear for an optional night dive. It is going to be a fun night.
