Location: The Bight, Norman Island
Today we woke up bright and early in the beautiful Peter Island. As many of us began getting ready for the long day, we were already underway to our dive site. We had a great breakfast of cereal and fruit in the open ocean on our way to the Rhone. The Rhone is one of several old wrecks in the BVI. This was once a royal mail ship that sank off the point of Salt Island. Everyone on Tropical had the amazing opportunity to dive at this wreck. On this dive many of us saw a reef shark, loads of amazing fish, and even a sea turtle. Being the dive boat for sail side B all other boats dove off our boat and had an awesome time. The Vegas of the boat took, and passed, the sailing exam and went on their first open water dive as certified divers. After a delicious lunch of ramen we went on a small hike on Salt Island. After walking through what once used to be people’s houses we hiked to the top of an island to an amazing view. Some of us sat and admired the view while others explored the very top of the cliffs. One done with our small adventure we headed back to the boat, cleaned up, and set off to The Bight in Norman Island. Upon arrival we showered and had a dance party and are now waiting for another delicious meal of broccoli and cheddar pasta. Even though it may have been the last of the dives for this trip, it was the most amazing. See you soon.
