Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Hi, my name is Sam, I am fourteen years old, and I am from Atlanta! Tait woke us up on deck around 6:30 this morning. After fully waking up and changing into clothes, we all enjoyed eggs and blueberry muffins. Once we finished our breakfast, we put on our shoes and headed to the island with Riley. We gathered with another group and started the hike. Peyton, Grayson, Oscar, Hayley, and I were spotting all the hermit crabs along the path. About halfway up, Riley went off the big path and showed us that we would be hiking up a very rocky, steep, thorny path. At the top of the hike, we finally got to the beautiful view of the island. After admiring the view, we headed back down back to the boat. Once we were back, Riley taught us a lesson on how to tie three different knots with the lines. After the lesson, we took a dip in the ocean and relaxed for a while. Shortly after, we started our journey to Virgin Gorda. We helped out Amelia with sailing and admired the view. During the sail, Sloane and Constantin helped out to prepare our sandwiches for lunch. Once we got to Virgin Gorda, we all got ready for our showers. Today’s showers in the ocean were fun cause we were all doing fun jumps into the water.
During our showers, we had Liya boat over and joined us. After our showers, Hayley, Peyton, and I were drying out on the bow. We all changed out of our bathing suits and waited for dinner. We had Alfredo and salad for dinner, and it was my favorite meal so far. After that, we gathered on the bow and all named what superpower we would want. Now we are in the process of cleanup. After this, we are all going to sit on deck together to talk and get to know each other. Hopefully, we all get good sleep tonight, and it doesn’t rain! Bye!
