Location: Muskmelon Bay, Guana Island
Hi, I am Alexa, and I am the skipper for today. Today was a packed day where we had shore time at Trellis Bay, then sail trained to Muskmelon Bay, where we had both scuba and sailing lessons. Here are bits and pieces of everyone’s day! Arhan went to the loose mongoose with Cameron and Conrad. They got burgers, waffles, and fried chicken, and in Conrad’s words, he had a scrumptious burger. Jasper and I went to the loose Mongoose too, and we ended up going to the cafe, where we got coffee and banana bread. Caitlin, Lilly, and Sienna all went to the loose Mongoose too, they also went to the store and got sunscreen, and Caitlin got a turquoise shirt that was beautiful and a mango chicken that looked really good. Arden went and got a pizza, and she said that it was probably the best pizza that she had ever had. Jake was shore support and made sure that nobody got hurt. Amelia got some chicken roti, and when she woke up, she went to a meeting, then drove while we picked up anchor, and drove us to the mooring ball, and we stayed there for a while. Amelia and Arden also went snorkeling around the boat for fun while we did one test. Amelia also taught us a lesson on boat physics. Giles got a rock necklace and shared some waffles with Cameron and the others. Giles also trimmed and eased the main sheet. Noah was also driving at the helm for a while as well as Adnan. Noah and Sienna both got stung by little jellyfish, and we saw thousands of moon jellies, and they were beautiful. Jacob hiked and cooked pancakes this morning with Lily, and that took probably more than an hour while, but they were amazing, and everyone ate them with Nutella or honey and other condiments. Adnan was also Batman and jumped into the water to save two dishes. Noah and Sienna both got stung by little jellyfish, and we saw thousands of moon jellies, and they were beautiful. Amelia also went out on Junior (the dinghy) and got Adnan’s shampoo which fell in the water.
