Location: The Bight, Norman Island

Hi. Soooooooo yeah. It’s day 19 and two days after we won the race. And it’s two days until we leave the BVI. Sigh All that aside; today was a great sailing day- great winds, no rain, etc. Breakfast was pancakes and fruit coked by Jeremy and Sam (the pancakes, not the fruit… duh), followed by about 1 1/2 hours of waterskiing, wakeboarding, and kneeboarding. We finished at around 11 and motored over to Road Town, where we got the chance to explore the largest town on Tortola. We stayed there for a couple of hours and bought lunch and souvenirs. After that, we raised both the mainsail and the jib and sailed for about 1 1/2 hours to the Bight at Norman Island. We had a dinner of cheddar broccoli pasta and biscuits. We mustn’t forget the biscuits. We tried to use pancake mix for them, and it turned out like really baked pancakes. Biscuit fiasco aside, it was a great day. Wish us luck for tomorrow’s race and lots of wind for sailing!
