Location: St Barts

I’m Mary from Meow or Never, finally docked in St. Barth’s. We had a long night passage last night, and I was on watch from 10-12 AM when we anchored onto a mooring ball. We switched watch teams, and I was on watch with Claire and Ethan sitting in the power tower with Aidan. At the end of my watch, we arrived in Gustavia Harbor. Matty P woke up in time to guide us while Aidan, Sela, and I watched out for mooring balls in the distance. We had to switch mooring balls after seeing that we were merely 50 feet from the nearest boat, just a little too close for comfort. I woke up at eight and read, but the official wake-up was at 9:30. We did two dishy pits, cleaning up last night’s dinner.

Claire made delicious French toast for breakfast that we ate with Nutella, and we soon made for the docks. Jada, Ari, Carolina, and I cleated and threw dock lines after having to switch from docking on our port to our starboard side. We then were let out to see the area and called our parents, wandering around the very nice harbor. Ethan bought some gifts for his parents, and Anda, Ale, and Ari got lunch. Anda remarked that he had a very good steak. Anno walked a mile to go get milk with a member of our sister ship, the Mary Lee, Aiden. We came back at five in the evening and had Mexican Night. We had three skippers ask questions during dinner as we’ve missed the opportunity the last few nights. Ale said of all animals. He least wants to be a cat, something I heavily disagree with. Minerva plans to watch Surf’s Up on the Mary Lee tonight, and the girls all bought nail polish to hang out tonight. This is my last time as skipper, and I’ll miss this trip dearly. I want to buy a chart of the Islands we’ve visited and plot all the points we’ve visited when we get back. I won’t forget this trip, but I’ll continue to live every moment as our last week passes. MandMs are awesome, so thanks, Sela! Goodnight
