Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay

Today we woke up at Sidney’s dock. We had breakfast cooked by Grayson and Amelia, which was French toast. While making breakfast, all the staff had a meeting. Once done, we undocked and left Sidney’s and started sailing. Today was our sail practical day. Everyone was on the helm, and we did a lot of tacks and gibes. We sailed for most of the day, with everybody taking turns on the winches and helm, and having lunch sometime in between. However, towards the end, we practiced man-over-board drills and anchored off Sandy Spit. After getting anchored, Aron, Grayson, Amelia, Teddy, Paige, Bailey, Bella, Emily, Aleda, and Stella all hopped in the dinghy and drove to the sandy spit. Sandy Spit is a very small island, and the whole thing is just sand with 5 or 6 trees. Anyway, Aron and I swam for an hour or two, looking for cool rocks, while most of the girls were together, and Stella, Emily, and Grayson were all having a conversation. After a while, Riley picked us up in the dinghy, and we returned to the boat. Once back, we all took showers, the chefs cooked dinner, and we all talked for a few minutes. Then, Riley told us the plans for tomorrow. Then, we played one round of hide and seek, and then cleaned up. That’s about it.
