Location: Marina Cay
This morning we woke up to a refreshing Caribbean rainstorm to pull us from our sleep and get the ground nice and wet for Mike’s dock talk. Though it started strong the talk too was cut short by another short shower. After the skies cleared up, we got to spend an hour or so on shore enjoying the last restaurant food we could get our hands on before our long passage. We returned and played a card game as everyone else funneled in, and once they were all present, we made sure the ship was 40-40 and ready to sail. We set off for Norman Island in the first leg of our voyage in solid winds, and once we arrived, we’re set to a swim test in a strong current. Afterward, we received a lesson in naval terminology before once more setting the ship 40-40. In Road Town, we enjoyed a shower before coming back and enjoying a meal of burgers to end our night.
