Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
The day started at 7 am, we started our morning off with cereal, and we rafted with Nomada Caribena. All the other boats on sail-side A joined us on our boats, and we began our free rotations. We had the option of water skiing, paddle boarding, small boat sailing, and just hanging out on the boat! Julia, Emilia, Campbell, Zoe, Roman, and Elsa went waterskiing first with Annika and Anya, while Andrew and Jackson decided to sail. Some people stayed on the boat to tan, like Leonie, Carly, Peter, and Sadie. Then we all came back to Avizia to eat lunch which was PBandJ’s. After lunch, we all went to the mangroves for our first snorkel, some of us saw a baby barracuda and some upside-down jellyfish. Then we put on our life jackets to set sail to north point to go to the grocery store so we could stock up on snacks and get ready for the barbecue. We had a short amount of access to our phones during this, which was our first of the trip! Once our phone time ended, it was time for the barbecue. We all dressed up and boated over. We indulged in burgers and hot dogs, and there was a DJ playing some cool music. We stayed here until around 10 o’clock, and then everyone began to go back to their boats. We were all very tired, so we got ready for bed as soon as we got back. Julia and Andrew made chocolate milk before everyone went to sleep!
