Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda

Today we woke up at 7 and ate a delicious breakfast consisting of scrambled eggs and blueberry muffins. We quickly prepared to go sailing by 40-40ing the boat. Today was our first day raising the sails, and it was nice to finally stop using the engine. Everyone had the opportunity to tack the boat, and we are now professionals at it. This skill will definitely help us win race day at the end of the session, a sure victory. We got to Savannah Bay and went swimming while three shipmates practiced setting up dive gear with Jordan. Kai and Adam fixed the crew a scrumptious dinner of alfredo pasta, hot dogs, and garlic bread. Later tonight we will continue our advanced and open water dive chats with Kelly and Jordan. I can’t wait for what tomorrow brings us!
