Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today was a super fun but slow-paced day. We got to sleep in until 8 o’clock and woke up to the other three boats in our fleet right beside us. For breakfast, our chefs, Finn and Tatum, made surprise pancakes with lucky charms, fruity pebbles, bananas, and apples. After, two boys from other boats came over, and we had a sail chat about VHF radios to practice for our test tonight. Then, Shona stole Big Mike’s super dinghy, and we all took photos in it until it started pouring rain. We went inside but then decided that being dry was for lame people, so we had a dance party in the rain. Once we were dry, we started sailing to Road Town for lunch and shopping, and Bear decided to buy a massive watermelon and share it with everyone back on the boat. When we returned to the boat, we sailed with Jack and Jackson from the other boats back to Great Harbor Peter Island, where we were this morning. We all got to go wakeboarding and knee-boarding for one last time. While half of us were out on the dinghy, William and I decided to jump in the water with our clothes on because yolo. While we were swimming, William had a funny idea for us to both fit on the kneeboard together. Our plan was successful, and we stayed up for almost a minute. Then we got back and showered and ate breakfast for dinner with eggs, sausages, beans, and pancakes.
