Diving Day

Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda

The day started off with a great breakfast of bagels and yogurt. We then went to another boat, where we spent the majority of the day. We relaxed on the boat, learning to make Turks-head bracelets. Then we had soup for lunch and got ready for scuba diving. We did two dives; the first was our first open water dive ever! There was so much aquatic life in the reef. On the second dive, we continued to practice more skills and had a great time. When we finished diving, we came back to our boat, where we had a Thanksgiving-styled feast. For our squeeze, we all said what we are looking forward to for the rest of camp and what we appreciated about today. Now we are cleaning up and getting ready to review our dive tests.
