Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Good Morning, parents!! I hope your day was as exciting as ours! As usual, we woke up early, and Ruby and Diego made us French toast. Unfortunately, we ate more than half of our only one jar of Nutella. After breakfast, we set up our dive gear! Ruby, Antonio, Pablo, Diego, and Henry set up for an underwater naturalist dive. Emma, Nina, Mimi, Humphrey, Alex, and Ben set up for a research dive! On the research dive, we saw two very adorable pufferfish! Then, we sailed to Leverick Bay for some phone and shore time! After, we sailed to Vixen Point! We dinghied over to Forever For Now to dissect a shark, which was pretty awesome. Nina got to touch the shark’s heart, which she thought was very cool. Then, Stormy, Alex, and Humphrey spotted a green eel on our mangrove snorkel. We sailed back to Leverick Bay because we had a barbecue there tonight! At the barbecue, Humphrey, Diego, and Pablo participated in a limbo challenge while Henry and Ben took on the dance floor! Stormy and Alex took a fat nap during the last hour of the party while Mimi, Emma, Ruby, and Nina socialized with other boats. Now, we are all getting ready for bed as we are all a little tired!
