Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
Today we did many things. Those things included diving on the Rhone, hiking, knee boarding and we are now about to go on a night dive. Only a couple of people went knee boarding because of the limited time, but it was really fun when standing up on your knees. The only time I fell was after I crossed the wake. Then we dived the Rhone. The Rhone was a boat that went down and now is a diving wreck. It was a great swim through with eels, squid, puffer fish and many others. It was also the only dive we are going on where people died. Some of the people were saved by citizens of Salt Island where we later hiked. During the hike with all of dive side, we learned that the Queen thanked the people by letting them live there nearly rent-free. The only rent they paid was a single bag of salt each year. The Queen uses that salt for her Christmas dinner each year. The hike also consisted of many pictures. After hiking we went turtle tagging, which was jumping our of a boat and chasing turtles to tag and then we catch them. We didn’t catch any of them, but it was a lot of fun. Later on tonight in about 10 minutes, we will be doing a night dive that we snorkeled earlier today and Cat made brownies. Today was a good day.
