Location: Vixen Point, Gorda Sound
Today we woke up early to eat and then prepare for an early dive! For some of us, we went on an underwater naturalist dive which was super cool, because Evan, Ian, Julie and I got to navigate on our own and made it! The rest did some rescue training with search and recovery! After our dives, we prepared to sail into port! Everyone got to take freshwater showers too! Once in port, we went to eat lunch while a storm brewed outside. We got to shop, get food and hang out until 1:30. After port, we sailed to Vixen Point, where the dolphin crew went snorkeling in the mangroves, and the Rescue team learned CPR. We finished up activities with beach games, including “baby turtles”! To end the day, we showered and got to have an awesome beach barbecue with music and dancing.
