Today everyone had a little late/wet start with the morning from a rainstorm in the middle of the night. For breakfast, we had oatmeal for the first time. We worked on knots, which were tricky at first but got easier and more useful later with some practice, but then we went scuba diving; we worked on the first two sections in scuba-diving, which were how to rig as well as some Basic/ important safety drills. The dingy ride back was really relaxing after that stress. We fought hard currents and balance with the paddle boards, which ended short but hard. And had a fun end to the rotations with water skiing which personally gave me a few mouthfuls of very salty water. The fun came to an abrupt end when we ran out of water while taking showers, leaving everyone feeling a bit sticky. However, we borrowed enough water from another boat to have drinking water and water to cook dinner. We had a lot of fun with dinner and clean-up, which included a lot of discussions about where everyone was sleeping because of the early morning tomorrow. In the end, the day was really fun and packed full of activities that we are all looking forward to getting better at in the later rotation days.
