Location: Mountain Point, Virgin Gorda
This morning Amelie and I woke up earlier to swim. Then we got dressed, and everybody woke up, and we got ready for breakfast. We ate and got ready for the biggest sail. We would go from the bight to the mountain point. During the sail, the staff explained everything about what we needed to do, and we got to work, which is a fun experience if you have never done it before. After three hours of sailing, we decided to eat lunch in manchineel bay, a beautiful place with an amazing lunch. I tried peanut butter and Jelly for the first time. After everybody jumped into the water, Amelie and I still needed to do the swimming test, so that is what we did. After that, we swam with the rest of the group. After that, we got back on with the sail. Raising the sails was done by Amelie and Miranda. The sail went smoothly. We attached our boat to the mooring ball and learned more about making knots. We also learned more about diving, about what to do, and how to gear up. We held little races between each other to see who can gear up the fast, which was really fun to do. It became dark. We had a beautiful dinner with many choices. To end the night, everybody still needed to take the diving test, after we sat together and talked to learn more about each other. Once everybody was tired, we went to bed.
