Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island
We woke up early at Sandy Spit and immediately headed over to West End for breakfast. We cleaned up on the boat and then headed to shore. Most of us ate at Omar’s Cafe and went shopping. After that, we ate lunch underway as we sailed to the wall and Great Harbor Peter. We even hit 12.8 knots on the way (which is very fast for a catamaran)! After we moored at The Wall, we dove at the wall for our very last and third research dive. My group (Sally, Dylan, and Josh) even found an old dive knife at the reef. Next, we had a quick motor over to GHP, where we would stay for the rest of the night. We worked on our research projects, and then some of us participated in water sports. Then, we watched the rescue boat work through a rescue scenario while dinner was being made. Then we ate dinner, which was Mexican night, and now we are cleaning up and will hang out for the rest of the night.
