Location: Great Harbor, Peter Island

Hi! Today started with a breakfast for champions, oatmeal. I was then sent over to the meeting for skippers, where I learned what an exciting race we had ahead of us. The team then gathered on the bow of the boat in various forms of colorful outfits and chanted our famous cheer. A few worth mentioning would be Brandon’s tie-dye dress and fanny pack, as well as Aaron’s amazing crop top. The race started slow, but working as a team, we immediately recovered all the way to third place! The race ended where the whole adventure started; West End, Tortola. We grabbed lunch at Pusser’s, shopped around for a bit, and even reconnected with the world on our phones for a few hours. We then met for one more skipper’s meeting before heading off for an even more action packed race. Our boat worked as a team and improved on each tack we did. Madeline did an awesome job on the helm, and we ended the race in second place of 7 boats! Woo! We noticed the trend of improving each race and are striving for first place next race. We then set up our anchor in a beautiful bay known as Great Harbor. We had an awesome Mexican dinner before our divemasters Brandon, Aaron, Hannah, and Maddy went on a night dive. Today showed us all what we were capable of while sailing and working as a team, and I can’t wait to see what the next race day holds for us.
