Location: Sandy Spit, Green Cay
Hi, it’s Caitlin! Today was a pretty chill day, which was much needed after our long hike yesterday. We woke up around 7:30, and while Lindsay and Maeve were at the staff meeting, Rome and Stormy (Our favorite chefs) made some delicious French toast. After we ate and Lindsay and Maeve returned, we set sail for Sandy Spit. Once we arrived, we got ready to dive The Playground, where we got to dinghy dive with all the dive side boats. During the dive, we saw beautiful coral and a Reef Shark. After we dove, we came back to the boat and tanned while waiting for Lunch, which was Chicken Salad Wraps. Once we finished eating, we had a two-hour-long dishy pit. Then some people tanned and swam while others napped and read. Chase, Jovian, Gillian, Rome, Mason, and I had fun trying to backflip and push each other off the dinghy. Before we knew it was time for dinner and showers. Tonight for dinner, we had franks, beans, and corn bread, which was delicious despite being made with frozen eggs. We ended the night with a forum and listening to music. Overall, it was a great day, and we are excited to sail back to West End tomorrow.
