Location: Cane Garden Bay, Tortola
Got going early today to Brewers Bay. I made breakfast en route, which was oatmeal. Most slept on the journey, particularly Josh, who slept as sound as he did in the night. We joined with another boat, Xanadu II, and went turtle tagging with them. Sam and Liz gave us demonstrations on how to correctly catch the turtles, with an oscar winning performance from Jayna. After a long and tiring swim, we finally caught a hawksbill turtle, whom we named Fernando. Sam gave Fernando a tag, and then we returned him to the sea. We then moved over to the pinnacles for a fun dive. We saw four lionfish and a large school of Jack. We swam between vast walls, and overall I think it was the best dive so far (although it is tied with The Rhone). We then had a relaxed evening that ended with delicious chicken curry, credit to chefs Kai and Cas.
