Today was definitely a very busy day. After waking up at 6 in the morning and having breakfast, we went to our third open water dive. Down in the sea we saw a variety of sea creatures, including several very friendly stingrays, a few parrotfish and a squid. After that, we went over to Squeaky to learn about ship’s systems. Although it might have sounded boring at first it proved to be surprisingly interesting. We also performed a variety of activities, including sailing on the Pico boats and waterskiing. Shifting winds made it very difficult for us to maintain control of the boats, but we did have a good time anyway. Adam managed to capsize five times in a row, but was then able to perform a dry roll. Well done Adam! Waterskiing was fun and Liza was able to get up on the kneeboard. But the greatest accomplishment of today was definitely Casey being able to dive. Towards the late afternoon, the day was closed with a delicious BBQ on the beach and chill evening.
