Location: Marina Cay

Today we woke up at 6:30, as usual. We left the anchorage in Mountain Point right after breakfast. To get a glimpse of what the sailing practical will be like, all of my shipmates were split into three groups, and we all took turns rotating between controlling the helm, main sheet, and two jib sheets (working and lazy). I took the helm first, and we went through all of the points of sail, tacked and jibed. After we were done with the mock practical, we set sail for Trellis Bay. We spent two hours at the port where we got our lunch and called our families. Finally, we sailed over to Marina Cay, where we’ll spend the night.
