Today was Chaos Day!!! Pretty much that just means that we didn’t have an exact schedule; it was just based on the dive boat and how long the dives took. Around breakfast, BDV decided to throw cantaloupe at us, so Spencer decided to throw a banana, but unfortunately, he missed it. When he went to try a second time, Stich warned him that if he missed again, he would have to radio out to all AQ vessels and say that he is a beta and explain how he missed. He decided that it was worth the risk and went for the second throw, but it came just short, so he had to radio to all the vessels, and it was so funny. After that whole debacle, we officially started our day by going to a different boat to hang out and go on the boom swing. But in order to get there, we were faced with an obstacle. There were divers Beneath us, so the dinghy wasn’t able to get to our boat, so we had to get creative. We all piled onto two paddle boards and made our way to the dinghy, successfully, I might add. After hanging out for about three hours, it was finally time for us to dive. Me, Paige, and Spencer all got to a drop-off where we were sixty feet deep and had so much fun watching Izzy (our dive instructor) mess with Grace. Ellie, Kathryn, and Anna all got to like thirty-something feet and had a lot of fun playing in the sand at the bottom. Kathryn said she really liked doing the flips because it made her feel like an astronaut. Katie, Luke, and Sofia all had a lot of fun because they got to take their fins off their feet, put them on their hands, and have a ninja war. After the dive, we are all proud to say that we are certified divers 🙂 When we got back to the boat, we had delicious quesadillas that Max and Stich whipped us up; we were all so thankful to have them ready when we got back. We even got dessert after lunch because our amazing Divemasters Grace, Luke, and JT baked us a cake and even put a little thing on top that said Congrats certified divers and had the dive flag. After lunch, we had a sail chat, and then it was time to get our shower in before we were underway. Unfortunately, we were surrounded by purple jellyfish. We ended up getting our shower in, but we looked crazy doing it. After showers, we got underway and headed to cane garden bay. After we filled up our water tanks, we got set up for dinner. Mike joined us for our delicious meal, and now we are going to finish our day with music, laughter, and fun!
