Location: Anegada

Today was a beach day! The fun ranged from boat Olympics (boat vs. boat competitions) in the morning to a bumpy and fun sail to our night anchorage. We began sailing at 5 am, and unfortunately, Enya, Reese, and I had to sleep on the floor. But to make up for that, Georgia and Reid made very good French toast for breakfast. After sailing for three hours, we arrived at the location for the boat Olympics – Anegada. As the youngest boat, we were not the best at events such as Tug of War. We also participated in relays, as well as a Fender rodeo (yes, it was chaotic). During the rodeo, Brij, Reese, and I participated and unfortunately didn’t do so well (we will blame this on us being in the youngest boat). Charles didn’t disappoint in cracking funny jokes while Max and Brij engaged in a sand-throwing fight, which ended in a stalemate. The journey back from the Boat Olympics was a little bit choppy – or should I say, very choppy. Sophie got soaked by the splashing waves. When we got back, Libby and Eliza did backflips off of the dinghy, which was a joy to watch. After a yummy dinner of veggie burgers and mashed potatoes, Reid jumped in the water after dinner to save his water bottle and sunglasses that fell in. We all can’t wait to check in with our parents, but today was a really fun day. Bye 👋! (Thank you, Brij, for helping with the blog)
