Location: Anegada
Today we woke up to an early morning sail to Anegada, which is the only flat island in the BVI. Once we arrived, both Katies cooked some tasty breakfast burritos for the group. Shortly after, we headed to the beach for Boat Olympics, where all the boats in our fleet compete against each other. For the first round, Luke C participated in King of the Hill on a paddle board. He won the first round, which sent him to the finals, where he fought hard but lost. The second activity was balancing on a fender. Katie W was so close to winning but came short. Next came the team round relay race. In this race, five people had to crawl under a paddle in the sand and then swim to a dinghy covered in soap, where they then had to climb onto the dinghy jump off and swim back. Katie W, JT, Spencer, Luke C, and Luke A all participated in the relay while the rest of the team dug a hole in the sand under the paddle. We are very proud to say that we won the relay. Next, the entire boat participated in tug a war competition. We successfully won the first round but sadly lost the final round. After, we hung out in the ocean/beach for a while.
Sophia, Maya, Grace, Luke C, and Katie W all played volleyball. Spencer, Anna, JT, and Luke A all tackled Ian. After, we all headed back to the boat and had sandwiches for lunch, and then set sail for Mountain Point. I took the helm; Katie and Sophia pulled up the anchor. About halfway through our sail to Mountain Point, Paige took the helm for a while. Once we arrived at Mountain Point, we all admired the super yacht called Multiverse. We then took ocean showers and enjoyed Caesar chicken salad and risotto. After dinner, we had a dive chat and enjoyed the rest of the evening with cards, music, and good conversation.
