Location: Savanna Bay, Virgin Gorda
Today was a fun day in the BVI’s. We started the day around 7 in the morning, waking up to loud music played by Garrett. Landon and Christina made some scrambled eggs and muffins, which fueled us for our long day ahead. After breakfast, we decided to take a dip in the ocean before our long sail day ahead, when we would be traveling to Savannah Bay. Eli did some perfect backflips, and Juni perfected his dive into the clear ocean water. Soon afterward, we began our sail east as the sun was on its way up, reflecting off the pretty ocean. Charles and Alex raised the main sail as Drake worked on raising the jib. Amelia and Carla worked on the helm, tacking the boat as Kai, Chase, and I enjoyed the sunny weather. We ate sandwiches for lunch mid-way through our sail and enjoyed the ocean and green mountains surrounding us. After arriving at Savanna Bay, we took ocean showers and did some flips and tricks off the boat and Sumo. Chase fell asleep and took around ten naps throughout the day. We wrapped up the day eating pasta made by the chefs and had a dive chat planning for our upcoming dives—fun day in the Caribbean.
